Workshops
Workshop registrations are now scheduled monthly.
January was a success with offering beginner classes for the first time Weaver. I had decided to continue to do the same for each month of February thru April. The beginner workshops range from $55.00 to $75.00 depending on the basket. With the beginner class, you will learn the basics of weaving, shaping, and adding rims. With this workshop, you will also be given a pattern and a kit to take home. This workshop will go from 9am thru 1:00pm and you will have a finished basket. This also gives you a 20% discount on any basket workshop that you chose to sign up for in the future. Pre-registration is always required to assure a space by emailing me at: mindfulgardensmaine@gmail.com or by phone/text 207.350.2474.
Mindful Gardens is located on the corner of Lincoln/ Middle Street in Wiscasset. Feel free to stop by and experience the atmosphere on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9-3.

This little basket is such a gem to have the around the house. Whether it is used for holding crayons, kitchen utensils, mail, napkins, cookies, biscuits or just filled to use as a gift basket. You will have fun weaving this little basket and learn how to shape. You will be able to get creative in designing the shape and height.

I am very excited to offer 2 Sundays each month for an “Open Workshop” for those that would like to come in and join us in making a note card, picking out a card, stamping, or water color note card to send to a friend or neighbor. My friend, Cindy will be there to teach stamping and card making. Not only will you learn a new craft but will make some one smile when they receive a handwritten note from you.
We will also in future months, make and mail out cards to groups, nursing homes or individuals so if you have any requests , please reach out to me.
The workshop will be available from 1-3 on Sunday, January 25th. The cost is a 10$ donation which covers all costs for at least 2 note cards and postage stamps. If a week day is better, there is also an option for Tuesday afternoons at 1-3.
